Departmental profile
The department of Kashmiri of the college was established in the year 2018. The Kashmiri language is taught as one of the core subjects and as MIL, besides this, skill enhancement courses are also taught. There is one permanent faculty member in the department and one faculty on academic arrangement. The main focus of the department is to develop creative thinking and an interest in the various aspects of the language, literature, culture, and critical thinking with a strong foundation in the humanities.
