About the Department
The Department of English is one of the initial departments of the college established in 2008. English Language and Literature has been taught since the inception of the college. The department caters to the academic aspirations of the students by teaching General English, English Literature, and Communicative English. Department teaches English to all the streams of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Home-Science. The department has two permanent faculty members of good academic backgrounds who try their best to fulfill the academic needs of the students and explore their potential.

- To develop quality knowledge in students together with honing their language, reading, and writing skills.
- To strive for academic excellence and foster the students’ critical abilities.
