Focus & Scope of the Journal:
“Insights: The Journal of Social Sciences” (IJSS) is a peer-reviewed annual academic journal devoted to the study of Social Sciences like Economics, Education, History, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Social Work, and Sociology. It is published in June and December, both in print & electronically, by GDC Women Pulwama (J&K).
IJSS provides a platform for the researchers of the social sciences and welcomes contribution, of empirical and theoretical nature, from the scholars in the areas that fall in the domain and scope.
IJSS publishes original research works in all the major subjects falling in its domain. Besides peer-reviewed papers (7,000—8,000, or longer in exceptional cases), IJSS also seeks to publish Research Notes (2,500—3,500 words), Review Essays (2,500—3,500 words), and Book Reviews (1,000—1,500 words) in the areas and subjects that fall in its scope.
