Govt. Degree College for women was established in the year 2008 Vide Govt. Order No: 269 HE of 2007 Dated: 20-12-2007 for promoting female education and to diffuse the rush at GDC Pulwama. The college stands recognized by University Grants Commission New Delhi vide Order No. FNo.8-161/2011(CPP-I/C) Dated: 29-11-2011.The college was housed in Govt.
